A vessel remains in safe water if it passes between the buoy and the direction of the sunrise (east).
Navigation Aid Buoys are marking devices used to ensure safe navigation at sea. They indicate channel boundaries, safe passage directions, hazardous areas, and special zones, helping marine traffic proceed in an organized and secure manner. These buoys are manufactured in accordance with the standards of the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA).
